General Barbering Basic Course

(500 Hour Curriculum)

Admissions requirements

1. Minimum age 17 years old
2. Social security number required
3. H.S. Diploma, G.E.D. or entrance examination

Tuition

Tuition Fees - $2600.00
Registration Fee - $100.00 (Non-refundable)
Total - $2700.00

Payment plan

Minium Deposit - $900.00 (due upon registration)
Full time students will make 2 more payments of $900 each month
Part time students will make 4 more payments of $450 each month

Tools required

Clipper, blade attachments, outliner, adjustable clipper, comb, pick, shear, razor, barber jacket, haircloth, and disinfectant spray.
Tools are in addition to tuition. A tool kit is available for $270 (inclusive of tax) at the school. This kit includes all the barbering equipment needed for the course. Students may purchase the tool kit from the school, or wherever so desired.

Textbook

Milady's Standard Professional Barbering (4th Edition) is available at the school for $100.00 (inclusive of tax).
Students may purchase the textbook at the school, or wherever so desired.

Make-up time

Make-up time, caused by excessive absence will be scheduled as soon as it is practical for both the student and the school.
There is no charge for make-up time.

Curriculum

Sanitization, sterilization and hygience.
Fundamentals of haircutting, shampooing, shaving and facial massage.
Shop management, State Barbering Law and ethics.

Upon completion of the course with a cumulative grade average of "C", the school will issue a Certification of Completion.
