Barber Refresher Course

(64 Hour Curriculum)

Admissions requirements

1. Minimum age 17 years old
2. Social security number required
3. Must hold an apprentice license
4. Passing a skills test

Tuition

Tuition Fees - US$500.00
Registration Fee - US$100.00 (Non-refundable)
Total - US$600.00

Tools required

Clipper, blade attachments, outliner, adjustable clipper, comb, pick, shear, razor, barber jacket, haircloth, and disinfectant spray.
Tools are in addition to tuition. A tool kit is available for US$270 (inclusive of tax) at the school. This kit includes all the barbering equipment needed for the course. Students may purchase the tool kit from the school, or wherever so desired.

Class schedules

Tuesday through Friday

9:00 am to 1:00 pm or
1:00 pm to 5:00 pm

You will attend for a total of 16 days, at 4 hours per day.
This course does not allow any make-up time.

Curriculum

All of the following subjects will be reviewed along with skill building:

Sanitization, sterilization and hygience.
Tapered haircut, using clippers, and shear/comb technique.
Shaving, facial massage, and shampoo.

Upon successful completion, with a cumulative grade of "C", the school will issue a Certification of Completion, for "Barber Refresher Course - 64 Hours".
